I decided to take my lazy self up any mountain on Friday, the plan was to hike up Lions Head but ambition decided Table Mountain was the way to go.
The predicated 34°c maximum temp couldn't stop me, nor the fact that I had to be up at 6am if I was to make a successful attempt at this.
Shout out to @Kyeezi for joining me and a certain person I won't name who dropped out.
Anyway we decided once up on the mountain that this would be a weekly activity.
I'm happy to report back that there have been no post hike aches and pains. This either indicates that the hike wasn't intense enough or I'm just in way better fitness condition than I had believed myself to be.
Anyone wanting to do this or any general hike I advise you carry the following:
